PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY, Incorporated was founded at HOWARD UNIVERSITY in Washington, D.C., on January 9, 1914 by three young African American students. These gentlemen wanted to establish an organization that truly produced “BROTHERHOOD, SCHOLARSHIP, & SERVICE”. They wanted to become a part of the community itself rather than becoming apart from the general community. There was a sincere promotion of accumulating and enhancing acquired skills that promote ” CULTURE For SERVICE and SERVICE For HUMANITY ”. These men were different in their approach and founded a sister
organization in 1920, ZETA PHI BETA Sorority, Incorporated to assist with imbuing the community with male and female members dedicated to service for humanity. Together with their sister sorority, Phi Beta Sigma continues to build cornerstones for our communities and nation.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated is a Brotherhood of Conscious Men actively serving communities and promoting a closer and mutually beneficial bond with fellow Greek letter organizations with the express intent to improve our culture and communities. The impact of those 3 daring and intuitive leaders continues to grow and develop every day. The leadership tree has produced countless achievers in business, medical, legal, entertainment, and athletics to name a few. is proud to promote PHI Beta Sigma Fraternity and all of its achievements and members worldwide. We are ONE and we appreciate your time and faithful service. March on Men. Shout out to Xi LAMBDA Chapter at Kentucky State University!!!!
